The Basics of Endodontic Treatment

In this course, Dr. Stephanie Tran will review the basics of contemporary endodontic treatment, which focuses on evidence-based approaches to restoratively-driven endodontics and preserving tooth structure in root canal treatment. She will explain the more conservative access designs, review how to use modern controlled-memory files for conservative instrumentation, and how to apply modern technology into root canal obturation techniques.

Dr. Stephanie Tran, DDS

East-coast born, California-raised, Dr. Stephanie A. Tran is a proud graduate of the acclaimed University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, where she received her dental degree.
To further her education in dentistry, she moved to New York to complete a General Practice Residency program at SUNY Stony Brook University Medical Center, where she became experienced in managing advanced dental cases, trauma, and complex surgeries. After several years building her comprehensive dentistry background in general dentistry, Dr. Tran then decided to pursue her passion for endodontics. She completed her post-graduate endodontics specialty residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where she served as Chief Resident of the program. 
Dr. Tran is a Board-Eligible Endodontist who specializes in providing comprehensive endodontic care to both adult and pediatric patients. She is a member of the American Association of Endodontics, American Dental Association, and the New York State Dental Society. In her free time, Dr. Tran enjoys traveling, exploring NYC's many restaurants and museums, cooking, and going to the beach with her dog.
